team’s objective is to bring relief to individuals offering Help, Hope and Healing to those
affected by disasters. The trained volunteers provide emergency service such as mass feeding,
shower trailers, debris removal, and roof tarping to disaster survivors, aiming to bring both
physical help and spiritual hope to affected communities.
Grand Junction, TN April 2025
The TBDR team was called out to Grand Junction, TN for six weeks after an EF-3 struck the
community. The chain saw team’s initial concentration was in the center of town clearing
trees to open the roads for emergency response and utility companies. The team then
coordinated with the local response unit, including the mayor, to remove trees from roofs,
driveways and yards.

Handicap Ramps
The team coordinates with agencies in West Tennessee to build handicap ramps assisting disabled
individuals to gain access to their homes. In 2025 the team completed 86 handicap ramps.
In the fall of 2025 the team was called out to east Tennessee building 8 ramps in 4 days.

Hardin County, TN January 2026
The team was called out to Savanna, TN to set up an incident command post in late
January following a multistate ice storm. The chain saw team coordinated with a local church
for eight weeks clearing trees from roofs, driveways and yards. The widespread area
impacted in Hardin County, included Savanna, Counce and Pickwick.
