Student Ministry

Sunday School

We believe spiritual development is essential. For this reason, we encourage every student to participate in a Sunday School class where they can learn alongside others. This is a place where students can feel welcomed and accepted, and where they can encounter Christ and His Word. Our classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in the gym.

Wednesday Nights: REVIVE

Our Wednesday night 6:30 service for students is called REVIVE - a time when students can refresh mid-week and recharge spiritually. There's never a dull moment - every week, there are games, community, worship, and sound, biblical teaching from God's Word that applies to students. Our first teaching series of 2025 is "Offensive Love: The Hard Teachings of Jesus", as Pastor Nathan will teach through some of the more difficult sayings of Christ and how they apply to our lives and culture today.

DNOW 2025 - "IMMOVABLE"

Our DISCIPLESHIP NOW weekend will be February 21-22, and the cost to attend the whole weekend will be $30. Our theme for this year is IMMOVABLE - Psalm 125:1 says, “Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.” We are called to serve an immovable God with immovable faith. Our speaker Ryan Keaton is the Young Adult Specialist for the Tennessee Baptist Convention. It will be an incredible weekend of worship, fun, service, and community!

SUMMER CAMP 2025 - FUGE at Berry College (June 23-27)

For summer camp in 2025, the Fisherville Student Ministry will attend FUGE at Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia from June 23-27. The camp theme for this year is "Into the Light", as students will explore and learn how to take greater ownership of their faith.

The cost to attend is $409. However, if you turn in a $75 deposit check to either myself or the church office by February 7th, you will receive a $75 discount. Please don't let cost be a factor - there will be scholarship opportunities.

For more information, please contact Nathan Chester @ (901) 482-9037 or the church office at (901) 853-4253.
