Weather Update for Sun., Feb. 1

Church family,

It has been a cold week this week, but I pray that your house is warm and your pantry is still full! As difficult as it is to be snowed in, sometimes these are the times the Lord uses to slow us down and speak to us.


My desire was for us to be together for worship this Sunday, Feb. 1, but unfortunately that will not be the case. While a large portion of the church parking lot has been cleared, Macon Rd. & Collierville-Arlington Rd. are still quite icy in spots. In addition, the temps are predicted to remain below freezing for the weekend, making the possibility for road conditions to improve unlikely.


As a result, we will not have any worship services or activities on campus on Sunday, Feb. 1. As a result of this, the following schedule changes will be made:

  1. Quarterly Business Meeting - Rescheduled to Wed., Feb. 4 @ 6:30pm as part of our Prayer Meeting & Bible Study time

  2. Fisherville University - First session rescheduled to Sunday night, Feb. 8 @ 6pm

  3. Farewell Reception for Nathan & Cassady Chester - Rescheduled to Sunday night, Feb. 8 @ 7pm

In place of our Sunday morning worship, I would invite you to take advantage of our library of past worship services on our website (fisherville.org) and YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@fbcfisherville9271). I am so grateful for our AV team who put in the effort to ensure that our services are streaming live every Sunday. I am also extremely grateful for Teresa Smith, who takes time each week to ensure those services are available for future viewing online.
